The Cannabis Control Division issues 10 different license types to business owners across New Mexico. To begin the application process click on a license type below.

— Important Update —
The New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD) has implemented a new automated licensing system called NM-PLUS, which is designed to streamline and simplify your licensing experience with the CCD, making it easier for applicants and licensees to apply for, amend and renew licenses in New Mexico, eliminating paper forms and reduces staff time required to process, review, approve, and renew licensees.
To apply for, amend or renew a license, you MUST submit your application online using NM-PLUS. Paper applications for initial licensure, amendments and renewals will no longer be accepted.

New Applicants:
- Visit NM-PLUS and click on the “Self Register” link.
- Complete the form and click “Register”.
- Once you successfully complete your registration form, you will receive an email (at the email address you entered) from cannabiscontrol@rld.nm.gov that will allow you to set your password (if you do not see the email, please check your inbox or spam/junk folder).
- After setting your password, you can then enter the portal.
Before you can submit an application for a license, you must first register your business. You will be prompted to enter all business information and controlling persons information. If you utilize an agent to complete your application on your behalf, the agent is required to create an account. You can then login to your account and designate/authorize that agent to complete your application.
