Recently 1098 and 1099 tax forms were issued to all former New Mexico Title & Escrow (NMTE) customers for calendar year 2011. If you believe that there are discrepancies between the tax documents and your records, please contact the IRS directly or seek the advice of legal counsel in regard to any claims you may have against the former owners of NMTE. SEPTEMBER 12, 2012 - MIMBRES VALLEY ESCROW SERVICES
MOUNTAIN STATES ESCROW TO BEGIN TRANSFERRING MIMBRES VALLEY ESCROW SERVICES CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
As of September 10, 2012, the Financial Institutions Division and the Receiver for Mimbres Valley Escrow Services, James McKay, have arranged for Mountain States Escrow to begin the process of transferring customer accounts formerly held by Mimbres Valley Escrow Services to a different escrow company. If you are a customer of Mimbres Valley Escrow Services, you will be receiving important information regarding your account from Mountain States Escrow. If you have questions about your account you may contact Mountain States Escrow directly at (575) 526-9741. Mountain States Escrow is located at 124 Wyatt Drive, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. You may also contact the Financial Institutions Division customer hotline at (505) 476-4692 and a representative from the Financial Institutions Division will return your call within 24 hours.

MIMBRES VALLEY ESCROW SERVICES - JULY 6, 2012
The Financial Institutions Division of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department is conducting an examination of Mimbres Valley Escrow Services as per the statutory authority to evaluate escrow companies pursuant to the Escrow Act, 58-22-1 through 58-22-33 NMSA 1978.
Business operations of Mimbres Valley Escrow Services will be temporarily suspended in accordance with a court order until July 10, 2012. Mimbres Valley Escrow Services customers with questions about their accounts should call the Financial Institutions Division at 505-476-4692.
NEW MEXICO TITLE ESCROW
On April 25, 2012, the Honorable Judge Raymond Ortiz of the First Judicial District Court signed an Order granting the Financial Institutions Division's Application for Receivership for New Mexico Title Escrow. Judge Ortiz appointed Albuquerque attorney Darryl Millet as the Receiver.
Mr. Millet’s initial responsibilities to the Court will include preparing a preliminary assessment of escrow customer accounts at New Mexico Title Escrow within the next 30 days. The Receiver and the Financial Institutions Division (FID) request that if you are an escrow customer of New Mexico Title Escrow, that you please check the FID website for the most current information or call the FID hotline (505) 476-4692 to report your case, if you have not already done so. On April 9, 2012, the Honorable Raymond Ortiz of the 1st Judicial District Court granted the Financial Institutions Division's (FID's) Motion for Injunctive Relief and Proposed Order on Receivership, appointing a Receiver. Darryl Millet will assume Receivership duties and responsibilities immediately over Golden Rule d/b/a New Mexico Title Escrow, Willis Asset Management, and certain named individual parties, in accordance with the Court's ruling. Mr. Millet will begin to service customer accounts, and will contact customers regarding their accounts and payments. Please continue to check this website for important information and updates.
