Manufactured Housing Division Login Procedure
Username: MHD classification and license number
Password: same as username
Example:
Username: MHDMM98C1234
Password: MHDmm98C1234

Use the following procedure to login:
- Click log in
- Enter the username and password (MHD classification & license number)
- Click on log in
- Click on Online permits
- Choose Apply for a new permit
- Choose I don’t know the permit code
- Select the type of work you intend to do
- Click next
- Enter address in the format correct format (see Address Formats below).
- Select city from the drop down box
- Click next
- Type a brief description of the work intended to do.
- Click next
- Review the application summary to make sure everything is filled in correctly.
- If using a credit card for payment, click next.
- If using a professional account, click on the professional account icon at the bottom of summary page.
Having trouble?
In order to use this system, your Internet browser must be configured to accept cookies. Permits will print in a new browser window, which means you must allow pop-ups in order to display your permits.
Credit Card Payments
MasterCard and Visa are the only acceptable forms of credit card payment. In addition to regular permit fees, there is a $5 credit card fee applied to all credit card transactions.
Permits
Properly qualified contractors can also apply for LP Gas permits and MHD Setup and Conversion permits.
Address Formats
Search for the permit address before adding an address to the database. The physical address is required for the jobsite address. If jobsite address is not found, enter it using a single space between each field (no commas) and the following conventions: [example: 100 STREETNAME RD NW]

First through Tenth streets will be spelled out. Above Tenth numbers will be used (11th, 12th, etc., with appropriate suffix “th” - for example, 24th - or ”rd” - for example, 23rd |

Choose Look up a Permit I've Already Applied For, and select the criteria you want to search for (Type of Permit, Date, Address, etc.). You can access your permit number by entering % (wildcard) and the last four digits of your permit number, for example, %1234. A wildcard (%) search can be used in any of the fields.
Request Permits by Fax
Requests for permits can be faxed into any of the field offices after you have established a Pre-paid Permit Fee Account. To set up this account, send a check for an amount that you would like to have available to draw permits from to one of the field offices. This can be replenished as often as you desire.
