Q: Can I as a CID Licensee make alterations, repairs or modifications to a manufactured home?

No, only licensed installers and repairmen, holding MHD-2 or MHD-3 installer license, are allowed to make repairs, modifications or alterations to a manufactured home.

Q: Can I as a CID licensee contract to install a permanent foundation for a manufactured home?

Yes. However, the sub-contractor must have a valid CID license and must be registered and bonded with the Manufactured Housing Division.

Q: Can I as a CID licensee perform work on an existing permanent foundation on a manufactured home?

Yes. However, the sub-contractor must have a valid CID license and must be registered with the Manufactured Housing Division

Q: Can I as a CID licensee install an alternative foundation?

No, licensed installers and repairmen holding a MHD-1, MHD-2 and MHD-3 licenses are allowed to install an alternative foundation.

SANTA FE – A Santa Fe jury today convicted two brothers on felony charges for stealing $440,000 in life savings from an elderly Edgewood couple in a real estate investment scheme.

SANTA FE - The New Mexico Court of Appeals has issued an Order on April 23, 2013 for Rehearing in the case of Southwest Energy Efficiency Project, et al v. The New Mexico Construction Industries Commission and the New Mexico Construction Industries Division. 

Previously, the New Mexico Court of Appeals issued a Memorandum Opinion in this matter on April 4, 2013. The Court’s order for a Rehearing has the effect of suspending the opinion of the court until its final determination.
