The eight-member Construction Industries Commission is appointed by the Governor for a term of four years. The Commission is responsible for establishing rules, regulations and standards for the construction industry in New Mexico, along with revoking and suspending licenses of those who have violated the Construction Industries Act.
SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the New Mexico Construction Industries Commission (hereafter, “Commission”) will convene a special meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the State Bar of New Mexico (Board Room), located at 5121 Masthead NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The special meeting may continue through Wednesday, July 9, 2014, if necessary.
This meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to NMSA 1978, Sections 10-15-1(1) and (3) (2013), in order to engage in discussions pertaining to the possible suspension or revocation of licenses and deliberations in connection with administrative adjudicatory proceedings. Such discussions and deliberations will pertain to Commission Case Numbers 12-2391, 12-2392 and 12-2422, and these cases constitute the entire agenda for the special meeting. No other matters will be discussed at the special meeting and the Commission will make no final decisions until a future Commission meeting that has been properly noticed to the public.
