Boards and Commissions: Overview
The Boards and Commissions licenses and regulates more than 30 different professions and specialized trades, from accountants to funeral directors. This division establishes educational, training and specialized standards to ensure New Mexicans receive quality care and services from qualified professionals.
Each board and commission has its own set of rules and regulations, and licensing requirements. Its members are appointed by the Governor of New Mexico, and they work closely with the Superintendent of the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department to protect consumer rights while promoting good business practices and economic growth.

NEW MEXICO BOARD OF BODY ART PRACTITIONERS
The New Mexico Board of Body Art Practitioners will convene a Rule Hearing on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Regulation and Licensing Department, 5500 San Antonio Dr, NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87109 in the Main Conference Room. A Regular Board meeting will be held immediately following the Rule Hearing.
