The board has granted a 90 day grace period for licensing, which mean applications for Signed Language Interpreters must be received in the board office no later than October 19, 2009.
Licensees can now submit mailing address changes online. Step-by-step instructions on the web pages will guide you through the process. Mailing address changes submitted online will be reflected in the licensing system 24 hours after they are submitted. Click here to begin.

Meeting Information
The New Mexico Signed Language Interpreting Practices Board held a board meeting on January 26, 2009 where the rules committee presented proposed rules to the Board. The Board voted to have three rule hearings in April to gather public comment. Once the rule hearings have been conducted the Board will meet in May to vote on the proposed rules.
