Next Meeting

The New Mexico Private Investigations Advisory Board will convene a Public Rule Hearing and Regular Board Meeting on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 9:00 am. The meetings will be held at the Regulation and Licensing Department, Toney Anaya Building, 2550 Cerrillos Road, Rio Grande Conference Room 2nd floor, Santa Fe, NM.

If you have questions, or if you are an individual with a disability who wishes to attend the meeting, but you need a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to participate, call the Board office at (505) 476-4909 at least two weeks prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.

Proposed Rule Changes

Here are the proposed rule changes that will be discussed at the Rule Hearing on March 15, 2010 for the Private Investigations Advisory Board.

The proposed changes to each part of a rule are indicated by brackets with a line through and underscoring. For emphasis, the language to be deleted is lined-through in red font color. The bracketed material then looks like this: [an obviousness of unwanted language]. Language to be added is indicated by green underscoring. It will look like this: new or corrected language.

In order for Board members to review the comments in their meeting packets prior to the meeting, public comments must be received in writing no later than March 1st, 2010. Persons wishing to present their comments at the hearing will need to bring (10) copies of any comments or proposed changes for distribution to the Board and staff.
