The function of the New Mexico Board of Podiatry is to license eligible podiatrists, review complaints, and take any necessary disciplinary action to protect patients from unprofessional or illegal conduct. Podiatrists are doctors who examine, diagnose, treat (including surgery), and prevent ailments affecting the human foot and ankle.
